A mere eleven years after graduating from college with a B.S. in computer science and yet I feel as if I am on the cutting edge when I am only doing that which almost anyone born after I graduated college could do.

   In spite of the fact that I am somewhat old fashioned when it comes to church practices and especially worship in the local church, I am trying to move into the 21st century without comprising theological conviction.  So what better place to start than a "blog."    My intention is to use this as an instrument of encouragement and edification for the saints for the glory of God.  No less grace, I suppose,  will be required in this task than in any other in which I engage as a pastor, but evenso, this blog will take a back seat to almost every other pastoral responsibility. 

  For those of you who choose to read it, I will do my best to only write when I have something significant to say.  I hope to have something significant on at least a  weekly basis.  Today, notwithstanding.
